V has been an advocate for the rights of immigrants, workers, women, LGBTQ+ people, people of color, and survivors of sexual assault. They believe safe, affordable housing is a human right and healthy, accessible food and clean water are basic necessities. V also feels we have an innate right to be who we are as humans. They believe in accountability for elected leaders and has demonstrated that in their leadership. The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to continue our support of this exceptional leader.
