Iowa Unity Coalition Endorses Representative Mary Madison for Re-Election to Iowa House District 31

The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Representative Mary Madison for re-election to the Iowa House District 31 in the upcoming general election to be held on November 3, 2026. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.
Reverend Mary Madison is an ordained minister, school counselor, educator and community volunteer who was first elected to the Iowa house in 2022. She and her husband, Dr. L. Keith Madison, have called West Des Moines home for over twenty years. Reverend Madison has her BA (Political Science) from St. Peters College, MA (Educational Specialist) from Seton Hall University and M. Ed. (Counseling) from Tarleton State University. She is a member of AMOS, Interfaith Alliance of Iowa, Iowa Mental Health Association and a lifetime member of the NAACP.
Representative Madison has been a strong voice for her constituents and has worked hard to serve them. She is a ranking member of the house environmental protection committee and serves on the Iowa Integrated Justice Advisory Committee. In these positions, she has advocated for the fair treatment and safety of the people of Iowa. Ms. Madison has demonstrated a commitment to service and building relationships in the community and the Iowa Unity Coalition believes she is the best person to represent Iowa House District 31.
