Iowa Unity Coalition Endorses Dr. Nikhil Wagle for Iowa Senate District 47

The Iowa Unity Coalition is proud to announce the endorsement of Dr. Nikhil Wagle for Iowa Senate District 47 in the upcoming general election to be held on November 3, 2026. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Dr. Wagle is a physician, small business owner and tireless advocate for a strong education system and increased healthcare access for all Iowans. He served on the Pleasant Valley School Board for 12 years including 5 years as board president. Dr. Wagle has worked as an ophthalmologist in Bettendorf for the past 26 years serving over 25,000 patients.

Dr. Wagle will work for accessible, affordable healthcare and a strong economy. Additionally, he has demonstrated a passionate support for public education and will fight to make our schools the best again. The Iowa Unity Coalition believes he will be a strong advocate for the people he serves.
