Iowa Unity Coalition Endorses Tavis Hall for Re-Election as Black Hawk County Supervisor, District 4

The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Tavis Hall for re-election as Black Hawk County Supervisor, District 4 in the upcoming Democratic primary election to be held on June 2, 2026. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.
Mr. Hall is a lifelong Cedar Valley resident. After graduating from Waterloo West High School, Tavis attended Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo. After college, Tavis went on to work as U.S. Congressman Bruce Braley's Caseworker and later as a District Representative. Mr. Hall went on to lead the Waterloo Convention & Visitors Bureau as their Executive Director. Tavis has served on a number of community boards and commissions, including Waterloo Planning, Programming & Zoning Commission and NAACP of Black Hawk County. He currently serves as executive director of Experience Waterloo. He was elected to the board of supervisors in 2022 and has served as board chair.
Tavis Hall believes the Waterloo area is on the cusp of becoming a major tourism area and is committed to making sure every voice is heard as the area undergoes change. He will continue to strengthen county services, build partnerships, and make smart investments in the future.
