The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Dr. Megan Srinivas for Iowa House District 30 in the upcoming Democratic primary election to be held on June 7, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Dr. Megan Srinivas is a physician in Des Moines and an infectious disease expert. Dr. Srinivas works with Iowa Primary Care Association to improve access to Hepatitis C treatment throughout the state. She also serves on the Iowa Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission and sits on the board of the Iowa chapter of the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI Iowa). The Coalition believes Dr. Srinivas will be a strong advocate for Iowans, particularly those who face economic and health challenges.
