Iowa Unity Coalition Endorses Whitney Mixdorf for Iowa Senate District 30

The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Whitney Mixdorf for Iowa Senate District 30 in the upcoming general election to be held on November 8, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Whitney Mixdorf is a Cerro Gordo County native and, with her husband John, owns and operates the award winning South Shore Donut Company in Clear Lake. She is the vice chair of the Cerro Gordo County Democratic Party and sits on the Cerro Gordo County Compensation Board.

Whitney has been very involved in her local community and helped local small business owners survive the pandemic. She understands the value of bipartisanship and is committed to working across the aisle to advocate for her constituents. Whitney will be a strong leader for small businesses, public education and family farmers.
