The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Lori Lovstad for Ankeny School Board in the upcoming election to be held on November 2, 2021. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government.

Lori Lovstad is currently serving on the Ankeny School Board and is the parent of 4 children who attend Ankeny schools. She is employed as a medical laboratory scientist. During her time on the board, she has shown herself to be a leader, particularly in the area of equity. The Coalition believes Ms. Lovstad will continue to promote equity for students and staff and put the well being of students first.
