The Iowa Unity Coalition is pleased to announce the endorsement of Joel Miller for Iowa Secretary of State in the upcoming general election to be held on November 8, 2022. The Iowa Unity Coalition is dedicated to building political power within our diverse and underrepresented communities at every level of government. 

Joel Miller is a former deputy sheriff, veteran, union member and the current Linn County Auditor. He has served on the city council and as mayor. Joel grew up on an Iowa farm and currently resides in Robins, Iowa. He and his wife have 3 children and 9 grandchildren.

As county auditor, Joel Miller has worked to expand access to voting and ensure the integrity of the voting process. He is committed to returning early voting to 40 days and expanding early and absentee voting opportunities. Joel will also work to increase voter outreach and registration programs. Additionally, he will make it easier for small business owners to register their businesses with the state.
